Neon Goby

Description

The Neon Goby has quite the personality for it’s size. It will act as a cleaner fish and will nip ich cysts and help control other diseases common on fish in marine aquariums. Most Neon Gobies are now captive bred and/or raised because of the ease of getting them to spawn in captivity. Though in smaller tanks they may fight amongst each other, a male/female pair in a larger tank will readily spawn and ferociously protect their eggs. Neon Gobies make a great addition to an aquarium with Large Polyp Stony Corals.

Diet

Will gladly eat anything you feed to the other carnivores in your aquarium. Especially enjoys mysis shrimp, raw table shrimp, flake, pellet, and other meaty foods.
